Please read these Terms carefully. They set out the basis upon which you will be provided with treatment.

Please pay particular attention to the sections in these Patient Terms and Conditions about hospitals. Hospitals involved in your care are independent and Verve Health Group are not employees of the hospitals. The contract between you and Verve Health Group for your care is different from, and separate, to the contract that you have with the hospital (which may or may not be written). If you are unsure about how your contract works, please ask.

Assessment

The zoom assessment fee is payable no later than 48 hours prior to the initial assessment. This fee is separate to any intervention fee and is not deducted from any further costs. The assessment fee is non-refundable. If a face-to-face assessment is requested by the patient, this will incur an additional charge.

If there has been a delay of greater than 6 months between the clinical assessment and the decision to proceed with surgery, through no fault of Verve Health Group, you will require a further multidisciplinary assessment at an additional cost to you, of £250.

Intervention

The clinical multidisciplinary team will indicate the care you require pre-operatively, during the procedure and post-operatively. If you have any questions or concerns about this, please discuss with the administration team or with your surgeon when you meet them at your next appointment.

Once the intervention has been agreed and paid for by you, no refunds are provided for any aspect of care unless there has been a significant breach of care.

Payment process for the intervention fee will be dependent on the intervention and hospital. If you are unsure about the payment process you need to follow, please contact the admin team. If your payment is made direct to the hospital, please refer to the relevant hospital Terms and Conditions as this will fall under the contract that you have with the hospital.

The support offered by Verve Health Group covers a period of 12 months post-operatively. The number of support sessions are capped, if you require support beyond usual care, you will be charged. These will be discussed with you prior to incurring any additional costs. If you require any support beyond 12 months post-operatively, this will be charged additionally.

Cancellation Policy

We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee as outlined below.

  • If you cancellation your scheduled appointment within 2 working days, or fail to attend, you will incur a 50% charge of the total fee.
  • If you cancel your surgical intervention within 14 business days, or fail attend, you will be liable for any reasonable costs that Verve Health Group has incurred.
  • If appointments and/or interventions are cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, the cancelation policy will be applied with the discretion of the Verve Health Group team.

Notice of cancelation for any appointment or intervention will need to be made and acknowledged by the Verve Health Group team.

Each hospital has their own cancellation policy also, please refer to the relevant hospitals Terms and Conditions.

The cancelation policy does not apply if any rearrangements are instigated by Verve Health Group.
