Wellness Packages
Verve Health Group provides a comprehensive approach as we recognise that successful weight management requires change on many levels.
We know that to achieve successful and sustained weight loss, a simplistic approach such as 'eat less and move more' does not generally work. Verve Health Group can design a weight loss intervention tailored to you, taking into consideration your medical, nutritional and psychosocial needs.
At an initial consultation we consider what nutritional approach is best suited to you, whilst also understanding the role that food plays in your life and also how it may be relied upon for more than just energy.
Our range of weight management support options include:
Mindful eating
Over time we can become disconnected from eating; we might feel exhausted by dieting so we tune out, or food feels like a battle and so we stop enjoying the experience of eating. Often life becomes so busy that we just go through the motions with food, eating on autopilot and as a consequence eating more and feeling less satisfied. The practice of mindful eating helps to re-establish a healthy relationship with food.
The mindful eating course, designed by experienced mindfulness practitioners, is an 8-session program which focuses on helping people re-establish a healthy relationship with food and rediscover the joy of eating. A mix of mindful eating exercises, simple meditations, gentle movement and helpful information will lay down the path to a better understanding of your eating.
- Individual Mindful Eating Coaching
Working with a specialist dietitian, who is also an experienced Mindful Eating Practitioner, can create the space you need to understand where you need to make change. This can be done at your own pace and a way that helps you to learn how to integrate these techniques.
- Mindful Eating Course
Designed by our Mindful Eating expert, this is an 8-session program which combines helpful information, group discussion, eating exercises, simple meditations and gentle movement. The experience of working together will lay down the path to a better understanding of your eating.
